ABOUT US
Phil Blumberg grew up in Pepperell, MA and got his start in carpentry in New Orleans. What began as volunteer work to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina, turned into a lifelong passion for carpentry.
Over the past 15 years he has been fortunate to learn from some of the most talented carpenters in the trade. Phil and his wife moved to Shrewsbury, MA in 2016 to be closer to family where they've settled with their young daughter and son. When he's not playing with the family Phil enjoys ice hockey and running. After the move back home, he continued his career in carpentry, specializing in cabinetry with a local company. In 2020 Phil decided to go out on his own and Perris Woodworks was founded.
In recent, years the company has grown from its humble at-home shop operation, and is now headquartered in over 3,000 SQ FT of commercial space in West Boylston, MA.
